The foundation's annual dinner is a major event in the community that draws up to 1,000 guests every year. Funds raised help provide quality, culturally relevant, and affordable health care and support services for medically underserved Asian Americans.

At each dinner, the foundation honors those who have made a great impact on the Asian American community. This year, the dinner will honor Gwynne Tuan, former director of development at the Asian American Federation, China Institute in America, and Committee of 100, and Dr. Chun K. Yip, clinical professor of medicine at Columbia University and board member of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center. Mrs. Tuan and Dr. Yip are being recognized for their civic and community leadership.
